Thirty-third Sunday in Ordinary Time

Focus:
Even though we experience difficult times, we are to remain
faithful to God. Throughout the readings for this we are instructed to
persevere in our faith, even amidst adversity and difficulty. Jesus
promises that those who remain faithful, who keep their focus on
Christ, and who persevere, help secure a place for themselves in
heaven. The faithful can be assured that the sun of justice will shine
on them.
